Mt Rainier vs Everest Base Camp. So what’s been different in our training this time around? We’re still hitting the track and trekking up and down the ridge lines of the Gold Coast Hinterland not to mention the stairwell at the Royal Pines….. boy that’s 20 floors of fun. The biggest difference is we have been working harder on strength training especially upper body so this week we headed to the indoor climbing centre at Burleigh not only for the climbing but to get more familiar with ropes and harnesses.
We’re off on a climbing trip this weekend which will require a fair bit of climbing so look out for the photos and update (if we survive) Monday….. Cheers Mike.
